WARNING CONTENT:
- Make sure the place where you attach the hammock has solid anchor points – e.g. trees, posts or other structures,
that will withstand the load. They should be stable and undamaged.
- The upper hooks of the hammock should be hung at a height of about 1.5 meters above the ground. The hammock should be low to the ground,
to minimise the risk of injury in the event of a fall – usually at knee level (approx. 40-50 cm above the ground).
- Use strong ropes or special straps for hammocks that can withstand loads of up to 250 kg. The ropes must be well
secured, preferably using hammock knots, snap hooks or dedicated handles.
- Before using the hammock, always check that the ropes or straps are properly attached and not worn.
- When entering the hammock, sit in the middle of it and then slowly move to a lying position. Avoid sudden movements that
may cause the hammock to tip over.
- Try to distribute your body weight evenly over the entire surface of the hammock. Lying on your side can cause tilting and
fall.
- Always comply with the maximum permissible load of 250 kg.
- Prolonged exposure to sunlight can weaken the material of the hammock, so it is a good idea to store it in the shade when not in use.
